An original painting, oil and water colour on paper, by Ralph Steadman. Painted in May 1991 as a collaboration with BBC film editor David Barrett.
The image is a trial of a dragon for BBC ”Words a Film” ”Pieces of Peace”, animation destruction sequence.
Note on verso ”My shirt got covered with paint as Ralph is very splashy” – David Barrett Film Editor. Then together with a hand written postcard to David from Ralph, discussing their day together when the painting was produced, in an envelope also signed Ralph Steadman.
